During the 23rd AAVPT Biennial Symposium, VPRF hosted our first Appreciation Dinner in honor of our major donors, researchers, grant and fellowship awardees, all of whom were invited to join.
The event, which took place at the North Carolina State University Club, was a fun evening of socialization as well as a meaningful one, as we honored those in attendance for their continued support of our Foundation, which overall contributes to advancing veterinary pharmacology research and training.
We’d like to give a special thank you to Dr. Michael Apley as a featured speaker during the event as well as for all of his many contributions over the years to VPRF.
Dr. Jane Owens, President of VPRF said:
“We couldn’t continue the work that we do without our donors and volunteers who have contributed time, expertise, and funds to our growing Foundation. It was so rewarding to meet some of our grant and fellowship recipients in person and get to know them better and thank them for their innovative work. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and we hope our attendees felt the same!"
