Virginia Fajt is a diplomate of the American College of Clinical Pharmacology and is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Veterinary Physiology and Pharmacology at Texas A&M University. She teaches graduate and professional courses in pharmacology and collaborates with clinical faculty and others on research on the clinical use of drugs such as pharmacokinetics, safety, and decision-making. Among other volunteer roles, she has served as the president of AAVPT, president of the EBVMA, chair of the AABP Committee on Pharmaceutical and Biological Issues, and board chair of the AABP Foundation. She currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics and is an Associate Editor of The
