Now taking applications for our 2025 Student Fellowship!

We're partnering again this year with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) to provide a student fellowship for up to $10,000, serving our foundation's goal of increasing the number and quality of trained veterinary pharmacology researchers. Priority will be given to applicants who plan to have a career in veterinary pharmacology research for the benefit of veterinary species.

Eligibility requirements include:

• Must be enrolled in a graduate program (MS or PhD) for at least one year at time of application and be in good standing

• Must be enrolled in an US-based academic institution

• The student must be a current member of AAVPT (a link to join is provided in the fellowship application for those who are not yet members)

• The student’s academic institution, faculty mentor, and two references must provide letters of recommendation

The deadline to apply is August 15, 2025.
